Untitled DocumentOver the last several months, Cancer.Net has been updating its content, releasing new materials for patients, and expanding its outreach to help more people diagnosed with cancer educate themselves about their disease and treatment options.

ASCO partners with the GetWell Network

ASCO recently announced a new partnership with the GetWell Network, which will bring Cancer.Net content to those patients who are visiting hospitals in the GetWell Network community. The GetWell Network provides tools to hospitals to help administrators, nurses, and clinicians better manage patients' needs, education, and overall experience in the hopes of improving patient outcome through patient and family engagement.

Through this partnership, Cancer.Net's patient-education video series, fact sheets, and podcasts will be available to patients on the GetWell Network in-house TV channel during their hospital visit and through the GetWell Network's Internet-based platform, which is accessible to patients from their home computers and web-enabled mobile devices.
