The ASCO Journals department is excited to announce two new editors for the Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO) and the Journal of Global Oncology (JGO).

In August, M. Tezer Kutluk, MD, PhD, FAAP, of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine & Cancer Institute, Ankara, Turkey, became the new Associate Editor for JGO. JGO welcomes Dr. Kutluk’s expertise in pediatric oncology, epidemiology, and health policy.

In September, Ingo K. Mellinghoff, MD, became a Consultant Editor in translational research for JCO. Dr. Mellinghoff is a medical oncologist who sees patients and runs a laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Mellinghoff’s area of expertise is neuro-oncology, and he is Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Neurology and holds the Evnin Family Chair in Neuro-Oncology. Dr. Mellinghoff will be an asset to JCO in evaluating more generic translational research papers and helping with the increasing number of neuro-oncology clinical papers that JCO is receiving.
