Nagi S. El Saghir, MD, FASCO, FACP

Nagi S. El Saghir, MD, FACP, FASCO, is a professor and director of the Breast Center of Excellence at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (@AUBMC_Official), in Beirut, Lebanon, and head of the Hematology/Oncology Division at the American University of Beirut. He is the founding president of the Lebanese Society of Medical Oncology (LSMO) and has served on several committees within the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). An ASCO member since 1984, Dr. El Saghir is a member of the Journal of Global Oncology editorial board, past chair of the ASCO International Affairs Committee, and co-chair of the Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee's Guidelines Advisory Group for Resource Stratification, as well as a past member of Global Oncology Leadership Task Force and Global Curriculum Committee, among other volunteer roles.
