In June, Nagi El Saghir, MD, FACP, received one of Lebanon’s most highly regarded honors, the National Cedar Medal, rank of Officer. The award recognized Dr. El Saghir’s work in breast cancer research and community health awareness and outreach.

Among the many awards supported by the Conquer Cancer Foundation is the Medical Student Rotation for Underrepresented Populations (MSR), which provides eight- to 10-week clinical or clinical research oncology rotations for U.S. medical students from populations underrepresented in medicine.
