ASCO Welcomes 2018-2019 Leadership Development Program Participants

Jun 06, 2018

The ASCO Leadership Development Program, initiated in 2009, is a year-long program designed to train future leaders in medicine.

The program provides oncologists with lifelong leadership skills by providing training by an executive coach, networking opportunities with their colleagues, and mentorship from ASCO leaders. In addition, all participants receive formal media training, advocacy training and experience on Capitol Hill, and a day-long introduction to drug and device development and approval at the FDA. Participants also learn about the ASCO’s role in developing the future of cancer care. The skills participants acquire can accelerate their leadership success locally, nationally, and internationally, as well as within ASCO and other professional organizations.

ASCO is pleased to announced the 2018-19 Leadership Development Program Participants.
