ASCO CEO Clifford A. Hudis, MD, FACP, FASCO, will be recognized this weekend by his alma mater, Drexel University, with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Hudis obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University College of Medicine) in 1983 and remained there to complete his internship and residency.

This prestigious award is the highest honor bestowed by the Alumni Association, and is given to a graduate in honor of outstanding achievements in their professional life, personal integrity and stature, and lasting contributions to their chosen profession.

Dr. Hudis, a medical oncologist, has received two other accolades from Drexel University over the past decade. In 2017, he was inducted into the 2017 class of Drexel 100, the University’s “alumni hall of fame.” In 2008, he received the Drexel University College of Medicine WMC/MCP Achievement Award, which recognizes graduates of the Medical College of Pennsylvania who are highly acclaimed for their service and leadership in the medical profession.

Dr. Hudis will be presented with the award on Saturday, May 19, at the Alumni Awards brunch during the University’s reunion weekend in Philadelphia. Learn more about the Drexel University Alumni Association awards.
