ASCO’s new journal on clinical cancer informatics will begin publication this year. The journal will publish highquality informatics-based articles that present actionable insights and research hypotheses based on cancerrelated data gathered from electronic health records, health registries, clinical trials, and omics data. The journal will also seek to publish papers on the methodology and interpretation of informatics research, with the goal of placing the research in a clinical context to improve patient care and outcomes.
