JCO will publish two Special Series issues in 2016. The Special Series on Obesity and Cancer will emphasize the association between the obesity epidemic and cancer risk and will focus on outcomes in specific disease sites. The issue will also cover topics relating to weight management and future research. Pamela J. Goodwin, MD, MSc, is the Associate Editor for the issue, with Guest Editors Rowan T. Chlebowski, MD, PhD, and Stephen Hursting, PhD, MPH. The Special Series on Genomics will explore how and if genomic information should be used in current practice. Jonathan W. Friedberg, MD, MMSc, is the Associate Editor for the issue, with Guest Editor Benjamin L. Ebert, MD, PhD.
