With a comprehensive course catalog that spans tumor types, practice information, and other aspects of cancer care, choosing a course can be a challenge. To help get you started, ASCO Connection has compiled a list of the most popular courses of 2018, from foundational to more advanced topics. 

Upon successful completion of ASCO University’s e-learning courses, participants may request Continuing Medical Education, American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC), Nursing, and Pharmacy credit. For more information about any of the courses below, visit

  1. ASCO-SEP®, 6th Edition Mock Exam: If you’re looking for assessment questions to evaluate your level of oncology knowledge and identify gaps, the ASCO-SEP, 6th Edition Mock Exam was designed for you. The most popular offering on ASCO University in 2018, the exam includes 120 new multiple-choice questions with detailed answer rationales and links to all references.
  2. Cancer Genetics Program: Updated earlier this year, the Cancer Genetics Program is a slide-based, expert-led course that provides comprehensive information on topics related to the genetic cancer risk assessment process. Course components include ways to improve taking and documenting family history and recognizing hereditary cancer syndromes, among other learning objectives.
  3. Immuno-Oncology Program: Also updated earlier this year, the Immuno-Oncology Program is designed to help the busy clinician stay abreast of the rapidly developing field of immunotherapy as it relates to oncology.
