ASCO International

Approximately 32% of ASCO’s nearly 45,000 members reside outside the United States, representing a global community of cancer care providers. ASCO International connects these members, organizations, and countries through a large and expanding portfolio of international oncology workshops and award opportunities.

The ultimate goal of ASCO International is to optimize care for every patient with cancer in the world. To achieve this goal, ASCO counts on its volunteers to coordinate activities, serve as mentors, and travel worldwide to teach courses on such topics as palliative care, clinical trials, and multidisciplinary cancer management. The following articles capture the stories of volunteers and ASCO International’s efforts around the globe. To get involved or to write an article, contact international@asco.org.
