The American College of Clinical Pharmacology honored Peter Wiernik, FASCO, MD, with the Nathaniel T. Kwit Memorial Distinguished Service Award at its annual meeting. 

 

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center announced the promotion of Thaer Khoury, MD, to chief of breast pathology within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the center’s campus in Buffalo, NY.

 

The National Academy of Medicine announced the election of 90 regular members and 10 international members during its 2019 Annual Meeting, including the following ASCO members: Nita Ahuja, MD, MBA, Betty R.
