Conquer Cancer Honors Winners, Nominees of 2018 Women Who Conquer Cancer Mentorship Awards

Mar 30, 2018

Now in its third year, the Women Who Conquer Cancer (WWCC) Mentorship Awards honor extraordinary female leaders in oncology who have both excelled as mentors and demonstrated outstanding commitment to the professional development of women colleagues as clinicians, educators, and researchers in oncology. With so many great nominations, picking a winner was no easy task for the WWCC Mentorship Award Selection Group.

“Excellent mentorship and training are critical to the development of exceptional future scientists. I am very proud of the two women who were selected for these well-deserved awards this year and the many women who were nominated. The future generations have benefited greatly from their mentorship” said Sandra Swain, MD, FACP, FASCO, chair of the Selection Group.
