JCO and JOP Author Alerts

The Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO) recently updated its minimum criteria for authorship. In addition to approving the final version of a submitted manuscript, all authors are now required to have participated in the writing of a manuscript as well. This change can be seen in the “Author Contributions” section of newly submitted papers that are accepted and published.

The Journal of Oncology Practice (JOP) launched a new electronic tracking system at http://jop.msubmit.net/ allowing authors to submit directly online. The tracking system not only provides convenience for authors, but helps to streamline and expedite the entire review process. Authors using the system for the first time will need to create an account using the “New Users” link near the bottom of the homepage, and then follow the links to submit their work.
