Gilberto Lopes, MD, FASCO, MBA

Gilberto de Lima Lopes Jr., MD, MBA, FAMS, is associate director for global oncology and interim chief for the Division of Medical Oncology at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and professor of clinical medicine at the University of Miami in Florida. He returned to the United States after 10 years in Asia and Latin America and has dedicated much of his time to the issues of cancer control and access to medications in low- and middle-income countries.
