ASCO contributors and publications have been recognized for outstanding work in digital and print communications with three 2016 APEX Awards.

ASCO Connection blogger Anne Katz, PhD, RN, FAAN, received a 2016 APEX Award of Excellence for overall blog content. Dr. Katz’s posts often reflect on her work as a certified sexuality counselor guiding patients through the challenging experience of reclaiming their sexuality following a cancer diagnosis.

The September 2015 issue of ASCO Connection received a 2016 APEX Award of Excellence for print magazines, journals, and tabloids (over 32 pages).

ASCO staff writer Jack Lambert received a 2016 APEX Award of Excellence for writing (interviews and personal profiles) for his interview with Will Schwalbe, published in 2015 ASCO Daily News.

APEX Awards recognize print and digital publications for achievements in graphic design, editorial content, and overall communications effectiveness.
