On July 1, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the launch of new training materials to help provide health care professionals with education on caring for people living with multiple chronic conditions. The HHS Education and Training Resources on Multiple Chronic Conditions (MCC) for the Healthcare Workforce materials include:

  • "Multiple Chronic Conditions Education and Training Repository" - a searchable database of existing educational resources that specifically address the care of persons living with MCC;
  • "Multiple Chronic Conditions: A Framework for Education and Training" - a conceptual model that outlines the core domains and competencies for the interprofessional health care team and;
  • "Education and Training Curriculum on Multiple Chronic Conditions" - a web-based course consisting of six modules. . . . Click here for more information and online resources.

Subject: ASCO Launches PracticeNET: A Collaborative Reporting Network for Oncology Practices

Did you know that ASCO has launched a new program called PracticeNET? This is a collaborative network in which practices can share and receive insights to enhance their business operations and quality of care.

PracticeNET is the first initiative of ASCO’s newly formed Clinical Affairs Department, which is dedicated to providing services, education, and resources to support oncology practices in order to promote the delivery of high-quality, high-value cancer care for people living with cancer.
