This morning, research was presented at the ASCO Annual Meeting that offers new hope for patients with rhabdomyosarcoma. The study was led by 2011 Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO Young Investigator Award (YIA) recipient Fernanda Arnaldez, MD, of the National Cancer Institute. In addition to receiving a 2011 YIA, which was supported by The QuadW Foundation, Dr. Arnaldez is being honored with the 2012 Brigid Leventhal Merit Award for her high-quality research.
