Reuters reports that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will hold the first of four regional meetings on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act's health insurance exchanges today. The exchanges are described as "regulated online marketplaces where families and individuals can purchase private insurance plans at rates subsidized by the federal government."
