    Van K. Morris, MD, of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, is a co-author of a U.S. cooperative randomized phase II trial of vemurafenib, cetuximab, and irinotecan in BRAF-mutated colorectal cancer which began in summer 2014 (2013 Conquer Cancer Foundation [CCF] Young Investigator Award [YIA] recipient).
     
    Iain B. Tan, MD, PhD, of National Cancer Center Singapore, received the 2014 Singapore Youth Award in recognition of his strong contributions as a specialist doctor and research scientist in the field of cancer and his efforts to cultivate an environment conducive for clinical research (2010 CCF YIA recipient).
     
    Ben C. Creelan, MD, MS, of H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, received an Annual Meeting Scientific Abstract Travel Award from the American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) to present his abstract at the 2014 ASTRO Annual Meeting (2013 CCF YIA recipient).
     
    Tennessee Oncology's Center for Blood Cancers welcomes William B. Donnellan, MD, hematologist and medical oncologist, to their staff.
     
    Andrew S. Epstein, MD, of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, received a 2013 Career Development Award from the National Palliative Care Research Center to examine the feasibility and initial advance care planning effects of a combined psychoeducational initiative in patients with advanced gastrointestinal cancers (2010 CCF YIA recipient).
     
    Stephanie S. Markovina, MD, PhD, of Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center, received one of three Resident Clinical/Basic Science Research Abstract Awards from ASTRO (2014 CCF YIA recipient). Award winners receive $1,500 and a trophy during the scientific session in which their abstract is presented.
     
    Vamsidhar Velcheti, MD, of Cleveland Clinic, was part of a researchteam that used a newmolecular analysis tool to accurately detect the level of an important target for immunotherapy in early-stage breast cancers (2012 CCF YIA recipient). The findings were published in the Journal of Clinical Cancer Research in May 2014.
     
    Nikhil Wagle, MD, of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and colleagues were able to decipher how a patient with bladder cancer had an exceptional and complete response for 14 months to everolimus/pazopanib in a phase I trial that did not benefit most other patients (2012 CCF YIA recipient).
     
    Franklin W. Huang, MD, PhD, of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, received a 2014 Stewart Rahr-PCF Young Investigator Award from the Prostate Cancer Foundation for his project "Investigating the Genomics of African-American Prostate Cancer" (2014 CCF YIA recipient).
     
    Elizabeth Comen, MD, of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, contributed an article about cancer preventionand risk reduction to SELF magazine (2011 CCF YIA recipient). "What Every Woman Should Know About Staying Healthy and Cancer-Free" was published in the October 2014 print issue and online at self.com.
